We are pleased to announce that the Qatar Scientific Oncology Innovation and Networks Society (QSOINS) has officially joined the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), placing the State of Qatar among the few countries in the Middle East represented in this prestigious global organization.
This significant milestone highlights the rapid progress Qatar is making in advancing cancer control, research, and professional collaboration. Through this achievement, QSOINS has successfully expanded its scientific network on multiple levels:
• Nationally: through its strong partnership with the Qatar Cancer Society
• Regionally: through its active membership in the Gulf Federation for Cancer Control
• Internationally: through its newly granted membership in the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)
This accomplishment marks a major step forward in strengthening research, enhancing knowledge exchange, and supporting cancer prevention and treatment initiatives in Qatar and across the region.
